Beautiful!

Summer camp has turned into being one of the most profound experiences of my life so far. Since seven years of age, I have spent at least one week out of my precious summer up at Evans Lake. The setting of Evans Lake is unparalleled- nestled between two forested ridges with a pristine lake attached the setting infuses a sense of magic into ones experience at camp. Though despite this incredible setting it was the people I met there that trumped all else. The personalities of the summer camp staff rubbed off on me and helped me develop some self confidence that I would take home with me. Eventually, Evans Lake, the place that I spent one week a summer at, began to feel as much as home as my house in Vancouver felt. Experiences at the swim dock, at campfire, on overnight hikes and other random inexplicable events resonated throughout the year in dreams until I would arrive back at camp the following summer. The environment created by the trees, the lake, the staff and the collective energy of everyone has spectacular possibilities that are difficult to express but life-changing to experience.
